WHAT IS FACIAL ROLLER?

Facial rollers are traditional Chinese Derma skincare tools that incorporate a Gemstone, such as Jade or Rose quartz, that is attached with a handle. It is better-structured to efficiently massage your facial tissues.Deinlai jade roller vs rose quartz roller

WHAT IS GUA SHA TOOL?

GUA SHA TOOLS can help promote lymphatic drainage, relieve facial and jaw tension and firm and lift the face over time. Relieving facial tension can help relax the muscles that contribute to wrinkles.

HOW TO USE GUA SHA TOOL & JADE ROLLER?

Jade Roller:

  • Preparation: Before each application, the face should be cleansed. Afterwards, you can apply a serum or a face cream to intensify its effect by massaging with the face roller.
  • Forehead: Place the roller in the middle of the forehead and roll in the direction of the hairline. Repeat 3-5 times. Then roll from the center towards the temples. Repeat several times to the left and right.
  • Eyes: The side with the smaller roller is intended for the eyes. First, close your eyes and roll very gently from the inner eyelid to the temple. Then work on the lower eye area and roll 3-5 times from the inside out to the temple.
  • Cheeks: Starting from the wings of the nose, roll down the cheekbone to the temple and repeat several times on both sides of the face. Here you can work your way down to the chin, i.e. start in the middle of the chin and roll with a little pressure along the jawbone in the direction of the ear/ temple.

  • Cheeks: Start at the nose and work upwards in a sweeping motion along the cheeks and cheekbones, moving outwards toward your ears. Scrape once, then move down a bit and scrape again, move down a bit more to the center of the chin and scrape again.
  • Under-Eye: Start in the inner corner of the eye and glide outwards to the temple.
  • Brows: Glide upwards along the brow bone - going from the inside out.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU USE THIS?

Well, it’s certainly up to the individual and the results she expects. If you are just looking for a fresh feel upon your skin maybe after every two days or a few times a week is fine. If you desire a lovely uplifted skin and more apparent results then it’s better to do Gua Sha every day.

Be gentle in the beginning especially if you are doing the facial Gua Sha. Start with holding the tool at 45-degree angle and stroke it on an upward direction. Continue to the scrapping in repetition for about 1 to 3 minutes. Make sure you cleanse your face (or any other part of the body) well and apply some oil before you start doing Gua Sha.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE-EFFECTS?

If the Gua Sha technique is performed correctly, then there should not be any side effects.  It is Organic and Side-Effect Free.

Do note that Gua Sha massage may leave you with some light bruising. This may often appear as red or purple spots, often called sha or petechiae. However, it is not dangerous.
